Risk management processes improvement in Rosneft

The subject of bachelor's work is the company Rosneft. The purpose of the work is determination of causes of crises and economic risks, determination of factors that affect their magnitude in the risk management process, and development of the generalized model of risk identification and proposal of the methodical ways for risks reduction and adaptive endurance increase in Rosneft. The company Rosneft is the largest in Russia and one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world. Bachelor's work was divided into three main parts. The first part of the work covers the main terminology, the essence of economic risk and the risk of management, as well as the main aspects of crisis management and modern approaches to risk assessment as a threat of the emergence of crisis processes. The middle part describes the company and its economic activities. In this part includes an assessment of the financial conditions and analysis of the economic performance of Rosneft. The last section includes the definition of the main methods and steps aimed at reducing the risks of activities and increasing the adaptive endurance of Rosneft.
Analysis of business strategies of Russian oil companies

The goal of the thesis is to provide complex information about companies performance on the Russian oil market. The first part is devoted to the history of Russian oil industry from reign of Petr I. up to now. The thesis depicts situation on the market during comunism era and after disintegtation of the USSR and privatization of oil industry. The second section describes four major companies on the Russian oil market - Rosneft, Lukoil, TNK-BP and Surgutneftegaz. The analysis of each company contains the history of its founding, development of basic operational figures like extraction volume, net profit, sales, export, crude oil processing; portfolio of main company activities and outline of strategies applied to the future together with the most important projects which are under construction or development. The last part contains possibilities that Russian oil companies have to export their production abroad, strategy of Russian government and the the analysis of the most promising projects.
